Ringbow

When touchscreen tablets were introduced to the world, people had to get used to a totally new method of computing, with the use of different multi-touch gestures to recreate certain functionalities that were normally done by a mouse and/or keyboard. While some functions were easier to perform with gestures, people still pined for the mouse as an additional input device.

ElliptiGO 3C

The world's first elliptical bike has been updated with three speeds for even more calf-toning bike riding/jogging. I guess their thinking goes along the lines of why just cycle or jog, when you can do both at once?

This new model, the ElliptiGO 3C, adds new features but is also cheaper than the first one, at $1,800. That's still quite a lot for a novelty bike that may incur some pointed fingers and shielded laughter, but if you're

MAS 102TB/120

There is nothing more sexy than a well-designed bookshelf stereo system and man is the MAS 102 a looker. It’s much of what you’d expect in such a device with a slot-loading CD player, FM tuner, two USB port, a ton of auxiliary inputs including digital, analog, and phono, and of course a connection for Harman Kardon’s iPhone/iPod dock,
The Bridge III. The 2 x 65-watt amp powers the 5-inch 130mm bass-reflex and 1-inch dome tweeters. At $999, it likely sounds great, but as most sexy tabletop systems, the MAS 102 probably carries a hefty premium thanks to the low volume manufacturing run and high-end perceived value.

Shape-Shifting Couch

Sometimes a sofa is just a sofa, not a "new domestic typology," as the press release from Campeggi for Matali Crasset's new furniture collection non-explains. But in the hands of this French design star, "just a sofa" is pretty stunning: using a built-in touch pad, the pillows on this futuristic piece of furniture unfurl like the fingers on an open palm, creating a bed, chaise longue, or anything else you can think up.

Logitech’s TV Cam

If you have yourself a Skype-compatible 2011 Viera Connect HDTV from Panasonic but still find your living room lacking the optics required to make high-latency VOIP calls that much more interesting, you now have yet another option courtesy of Logitech. The company has just announced its TV Cam for Skype, a 720p model that, if we didn't know better, we'd say was exactly the same as the camera you can get for the Revue -- which is also a dead ringer for the C910. Anyhow, it'll do 720p video, has cool blue lights, and is set to be available sometime this month for $149.99. More details in the PR after the break.

BMW Vision

BMW's roadster concept, shown at Geneva, is really more about the electronics than traditional design or motive power. Vision ConnectedDrive integrates three driving modes, which BMW calls Safety, Infotainment, and Environment. Each state uses lighting effects to signal its presence. Orange signifies Safety, and is denoted here by the lighting effects in the hood, which direct the driver's attention to the road.

Nissan ESFlow

Also unveiled at the 2011 Geneva auto show was the Nissan ESFlow, an electric sports car. Although this electric sports car concept looks like a Z, it was built from the ground up for its electric power train. Lithium ion batteries are located over the front axle, while two electric motors drive the rear wheels, contributing to even weight balance. The headlights actually conceal charging points.

Alfa Romeo 4C

The compact 4C unveiled at the 2011 Geneva auto show sports typical Alfa Romeo styling, with beautiful curves rising up from the hood of the car and continuing all the way to the rear. The 4C is Alfa Romeo's attempt at an efficient sports car, the model designation half that of the 8C Competizione. Alfa Romeo constructed the 4C's body out of carbon fiber, which helps keep overall weight down to 1,874 pounds.

Jaguar C-X75

This sleek car was partly designed to celebrate Jaguar's 75th anniversary, but it also showcases innovative technologies. It is essentially an electric car, with motors driving each wheel. This arrangement allows for torque vectoring with precise power delivery designed to aid handling.

Nikon D5100

Nikon has stirred up the camera crowds once again with its newly released D5100, filling the industry with the buzz of a new high-resolution articulating screen. In terms of consumer DSLR options, the D5100 has taken on the role of the mid-range model in Nikon's product line between the D3100 and the D7000 and we think it assumes the part rather nicely. In terms of price, the D5100 fits right in as well, fetching an MSRP of $900 (vs. $700 and $1600, respectively for the two aforementioned camera kits).
